We help underprivileged restore their dignity by affording them simple tools for education and learning. We restore old electronics to allow for e learning, teaching and even skill teaching.
As the world is developing faster and faster, we need more technology donations. Recycling your electronic goods is important because if it ends up in a landfill, the problem isn’t solved — it only begins. Electronics that end up in the trash can become a serious environmental and health hazard.
Yet, apart from recycling responsibly, you will be helping those who cannot afford a proper learning experience have the opportunity to learn in today’s world of e-learning. You will significantly reduce the education gap amongst the underpriviledged.
You can choose to donate the following :
OLDER obsolete electronics for education and learning such as:
- phones (no older than 5 years)
- tablets (no older than 5 years)
- computers/Laptops (no older than 5 years) - See here on how to prep your laptop for donation.
- game consoles (atari, Sega, Nintendo PlayStation etc)
- other electronics such as monitor, TV, dvd player, old speakers etc
- storage drives- such as external hard disk, usb storage, and sd cards (no less than 2gb)
Note :
- All donations should be able to be turned on and still function. It may not be in top-notch condition but it should start, otherwise the cost of repair or finding parts may exceed our budget. If you are unsure of whether it can be donated, feel free to pm us.
- For all donations that are significant of value, we will pick up the items for FREE. Just whatsapp us. However if the donation is small, we would appreciate for the donor to send the item to us via post or through grab or lala move at their own cost.
No Donation Too Small!
The "REUSE FOR GOOD" Education4Life Programme
We are also promoting community libraries for selected areas of need. These libraries will be used to promote education at an early stage by giving those who need access.
Educational material
- Books- children and adult books, comics
- Usable stationery such as writing and drawing materials (no need papers)
- Learning materials - white boards
- Board games - congkak, scrabbles any kind of board game (strictly explicit adult material).
- Tables and chair
- Book shelves and storage boxes
Note :
1) all donations should be in usable condition. It may not be in top notch condition and we appreciate any of your generosity. If you are unsure of whether it can be donated, feel free to pm us.
